Does anyone know what percentage of the admitted freshmen class comes in through early decision? Thanks!
Last year, Villanova admitted 24% of the class ED.

Last year was the first time that Villanova offered a binding ED program, so it’s basically brand new… It’s possible that the percentage of ED admits could change significantly over the next few years, as Villanova, prospective students, and guidance counselors get used to it.
I am wondering too how the ED % will evolve. It is common now to hear colleges admitting 40% of students through ED.
At a July 2018 info session, if I heard her right, the admissions director said they plan to go from 24% to 40% of the class coming from ED this year. That will increase their yield & lower their admissions rate further.
At a nursing open house, they said that 44 of the 100 nursing spots were early decision.
