It depends on what the consultant promised.
Zimny’s [conviction on federal fraud charges](http://www.abc6.com/story/28769565/education-consultant-convicted-of-cheating-hong-kong-couple) will probably help their civil case if that information is allowed.
But winning a civil case won’t be worth much if Zinny is wearing an orange jumpsuit for 20 years with empty pockets.
Don’t be silly, GMTplus7! Zimny could be pulling down up to $1.15 an hour, which should be more than enough to pay off any judgment against him, given time.
That being said it sounds like this guy is a long-term scam artist.
Sounds like he deserves whatever he gets
Really, he should have just stuck with teaching at H.
The other story in this saga is Zimny writing Gerald Chow’s research papers for Chow at Kennedy School of Government. But Chow got his Harvard degree and was a satisfied customer in that. And I guess Harvard is content to let cheating dogs lie. Wouldn’t be good for business.
Looking at the silver lining in this: Zimny could do brisk business like Andy Dufresne, coaching prison inmates to pass the GED. But if I were Zimny, I wouldn’t rip off inmates… b-(
Quite frankly I don’t think Chow “deserves” any compensation or reimbursement. He is as bad as Zimny. The outcome from a legal perspective may be very different but I am not holding my breath if the suit is pending in MA.
