EE Book Reccomendations?

I want to build a good foundation and get ahead of the game before I start college at UIUC in the fall. Can you all reccomend books dealing with prerequisite classes such as Calc 1, Calculus based Physics and Chem.

And any STEM books in general that has helped people or even entertained. Thanks!

Don’t think you want to double buy books. Maybe look for some websites if you want to do some preview /reviews. But you can go to UIUC website and see if there is a consensus book for these subjects. Saying this… Many of the books are also online in pdf versions. Any somewhat recent books on Calc 1 etc should be sufficient, that you can download.

More than anything, you should study on how to be efficient. The best book I’ve come across is How to be a Straight A Student by Cal Newport. Efficiency will make or break you. Good luck!

It’s probably rather dated now, but I remember really enjoying “The Soul of a New Machine” (Tracy Kidder).
