I'm an EE sophomore, and so far I'm enjoying the majority of my classes. Besides all of my general education prerequisites, I've taken several EE-required classes. My major is EE and my declared minor (I won't get to these classes for another semester) is computer science. What I was trying to do with this set up is go into the field of robotics and automation, and I figured with EE I would get the hardware part, and with CS (and also some of EE) I would get the software and automation part. Basically, I want to be able to design a machine and program it to do what I want, instead of doing just one or the other.

Lately, I've been thinking about maybe switching to CS and minoring in something else, probably math. In my school, CS is much more technical-elective-heavy than any other engineering program, so I would be able to take EE electives if I wanted to.

This is my school's CS program outline:

The minor is 18 credit hours total.

And this is the EE program:

Any suggestions?
