<p>What can you tell me about the Ethics, Economics, and Politics major at Yale? It was brought up by my interviewer as something that might interest me, but we didn't have time to discuss it in depth. What is meant by ethics (theology classes, philosophy, etc.)? How good is the program? Do other schools have comparable programs?</p>
<p>I want to know the same thing...the major looks pretty interesting.</p>
<p>While I was an undergraduate, EPE was a very popular and highly regarded major. Many of the elite "thinkers" in the class went into EPE. It is a hybrid major which you can apply for in your sophomore year (other than some of the arts/music, this is the only major I think you have to apply for), and combined the pre-eminent faculty from different disciplines. Classes would combine the three fields. </p>

<p>edit: many of the rhodes/marshall/yale law sort of students were in this major. In fact there is a similar program at oxford which, if I find, I'll post it later.</p>

My friend in EPE spent a semester at oxford and he studied under this concentration there.</p>
