Effect of bad semester freshman year

My college experience got off to a rather bad start- 5 classes taken and all of them failed. Since then, I've shaped up to a significant extent and in the past 3 years I've gotten an A in all but one of my classes (twas a C+). I've retaken all of the classes I failed as well, save for one, which has not been offered since, which makes my school-issused a 3.85, but obviously my LSAC GPA is not very impressive. LSAT is 172. Basically I'm wondering how I'll be regarded given the situation.

Congrats for bouncing back and turning things around. You probably should write an addendum if there was a reason for your bad first year. The challenge is that you will be a splitter. Those outcomes are hard to predict. You should apply broadly and really early in the cycle as some schools will appreciate the 172.
