<p>So I submitted my common app today, 12/31 before the Jan 1st deadline.
But when I was at the payment screen, I read "Effective Payment Date: 1/2/13." </p>
<p>Does this mean that my application is late? Or not at all & the colleges don't care. </p>

<p>I submitted an app due on December 1st on Nov 30. and it said the effective payment date was 12/2/2013 and when I emailed the college it said not to worry about it and I just submitted two apps today and have the same problem but I don’t think its a big deal</p>
