how much effort do you put in your gpa?
like how many hours do you study per day or per week, do you try different ways in reviewing, and what makes college work harder than high school?(seriously, i know its hard, i would like to know what specifically differs between the two such as longer papers, or harder tests?)

Nobody can tell you what will work for you

well, for me

3.9 overall, third year, bio major, usually take a full load (avg 16-17 units) + extracurriculars and work

I put in about 3-4 hours a day on average (while surfing the net and generally slacking off), obviously more if I have a midterm coming up or a paper due. So 15-20 hours a week studying and writing papers/lab reports.

I go to lecture and take good notes. Then I study the notes, reading the book along the way to fill in gaps in my understanding and looking up things on Wikipedia hehe.

College isn't harder than high school. But my high school was rigorous, so it might just be my opinion. Looking back, I'm really not sure how I was able to get through high school, while college is (generally) a breeze for me. Less classes, more time, less structure (seriously, I can't go back to the waking up at 7am, taking 7 classes and coming home at 6pm again...)

thanks bro, appreciate it
where you go?
