<p>My friend and I want to go at the end of our junior year. I heard about the drug abuse though, that the smoking and rolling is CRAZY at Electric Daisy Carnival. Have any of you guys been to EDC or know anybody that has, and is it safe or not?</p>
<p>I thought they’re putting in an age limit now, since that 15 year old girl died at EDC this year?</p>
<p>My friend’s going to be 16 by then and we’re thinking about bringing two other people who are over 18. I’m the only one who’s going to be under 16 (15), so would having them cancel out the possible age limitation?</p>

<p>Yeah, I know a lot of people who went this year. Some of them who went sober claim that it’s still really fun and you don’t need to be on drugs to have a good time, even though naturally most people are on drugs there. </p>
<p>There were lots of deaths, injuries, and mishaps but I’m presuming most of those came on behalf of the people who were behaving stupidly. Every single person I know who went said that they had the most incredible time ever.</p>
<p>Bottom line is that you’re definitely not in a safe environment, but if you act and behave responsibly you should be fine.</p>
