Electrical Engineering and Aerospace

If one obtains a degree in Electrical Engineering would it be possible to work in the Aerospace industry? That thoughts are the avionics, control system, sensors, power, etc. I would like to work and help get humanity into space and that is what I would like to do as a career.

I would find deisgning and working on space rovers, satellites, Private industry like SpaceX or Planetary Resources. Also on a side note do Electrical Engineers do any work in plasma science, or effects in space.

Thank you.

Absolutely yes. Many many do.

Yes, although mostly at the graduate level, and it depends a bit on the details - there will usually be some kind of connection to actual engineering, and you may be working alongside physicists, mathematicians, nuclear engineers, etc.

Yup.

I went the other way, I did aero engineering and work for an avionics company. I am pretty much the only aero major, everyone else is EE and CS.
