Can anyone give comments on the Electrical Engineering major (probably with the communications and sustainable electric energy concentration areas)? For examples, the work load, difficulty of the courses and career prospect.

It’s really hard, especially with all the CSE-rejects with chips on their shoulders screwing up the curve in every class.

Don’t get me started on the CSE kids themselves.

I don’t know much about the difficulty (that’s a really subjective measure), but just based on my experiences in EE215, the intro class, there will be a lot of competition with your classmates. Obviously there’s competition in every class, but there’s probably more in EE than in other majors.

How about the career prospect?
