What is the eligible EFC score for 2016-17. I found 2015-16 and it was just above 5000 and then you don’t qualify for any Pell grants, etc. But, can’t seem to find any information on 2016-17. Any information appreciated.
What are you talking about? Are you asking what the cutoff for a Pell Grant would be? If so, your FAFSA EFC must be below $5000 to get a portion of the Pell.
To get the full Pell of $5800 or so…your FAFSA EFC would need to be $0.
If your FAFSA EFC is $5000, you would get about $800 in Pell money for the year.
I am talking what the cutoff of the Pell would be. 2015-06 was slightly above 5000. It use to be below 5000 several years ago. So, wondering it has been updated any.
It isn’t below $5000. And at that level you would only receive $800 or so a year.

I don’t think they have determined 2016-2017 numbers yet; maybe later this month.
I think @kelsmom posted the current Pell figures recently.
The new Pell grant schedule has not yet been published. The maximum amount for the grant has been released, but the schedule has not - meaning the highest eligible EFC has not been released.
