<p>At my daughter's school of approx. 200 students, word is 40 are applying eraly action to Elon. Don't know if this is just the "herd" at her school or part of a wider trend - my guess is a bit of both. In any case, I anticipate this making it tougher for her to get in. At the same time, it probably increases the odds she will choose to go there if she is accepted.</p>
<p>Elon is HOT in the mid-atlantic area.
Son graduated HS in 2003 and was one of 2 Elon applicants from his school.<br>
Daughter graduated same HS in 2007 and was one of ~40 applicants!</p>
