This has probably been asked before but I can't find where--
When does the class of 2010 get our email addresses?

Thanks!

This has probably been asked before but I can't find where--
When does the class of 2010 get our email addresses?

Thanks!

On Carleton's website, it says that we will get "Mailing 1," which includes our email address information, in mid-May, so you can expect it to arrive any day.

they're here! they're here!

:)

Should the email address be working?
Gah mine won't receive or send any mail!

Hmmm. I went to the link on the letter, "http://www.carleton.edu/campus/ITS/newstudents" and I've typed my username and password about a billion times. Case sensitive and everything. And it won't let me log in.

Anyone else having that problem?

In any case, I'll try again tomorrow after school and if it persists I will call IT down there. I want to get into this "Caucus" thing and get to know people!

Facebook is better than Caucus in terms of getting to know your classmates. Get the screennames of people who seem interesting to you and chat with them on IM, see other people who will be living near you, get a sense of student life by looking at the groups and photo albums of current students, whatever. Just don't go nuts friending 2/3 of your class before you even meet them like some kids did last year. Caucus is better-suited for asking questions about what to bring, what to expect, and those sorts of practical considerations that entering freshmen have.

Oh yay it works today!

clouded sky-- i'm having the same problem. have you succeeded yet? i've emailed the ITS people.
