Why does Case Western allow/ make students create a case western email before acceptances are even out?
It’s a test too see if you’re actually interested or not. If you don’t make one you’re rejected even if you have perfect stats. 
I don’t think anybody knows your guess is as good as ours. Could be for multiple reasons. Or they just do it for self amusement.
