she'll feel like harry when he went to hogwarts. lol.

^ So true.

^ Word to Renaissance. Very perceptive comment.

Why would she turn down Cambridge for Yale? =P

^ Because it's WAY WAY WAY too concentrated. If you're an English major, you study English and almost nothing else whatsoever. You might as well go to a trade school. Yale is much more focused on broad-based education.

she already told me that she's going to yale so she can stay at my house since i live close to new haven

While most Yalies would say to be so celebrity-struck is impolite but don't you believe them! When I was there, there were some famous actresses who were attending. No one in my circle of friends knew them personally but they didn't go unnoticed: "Hey! ___ is in my French history class this term!"

However, neither of them were as prominent as Ms. Watson, in popular culture, to be sure... Good luck, emma-watchers!

I already have a plan on how to get her. I accidently bump into her and make her knock something down, then being a gentleman I pick everything up. I ask her name (as if I already didn't know ;))and she tells me Emma Watson. I precede to say something along the lines of "That sounds familiar" and latter walk away.
Then we manage to "accidentally" see each other for about a week and i ask her out, on all the pretense that I don't know who she is. Then during the date she tells me that she is a famous actresses and I ask "What movie?" then she says Harry Potter and I respond "Oh who in the movie were you?" She says Hermoine, and I reply "Really? But hermoine was such a nerd and you are gorgeous."

First step in anything, is to have a game plan :)

You also just spilled your plan.
If enough desperate males read this/choose to employ your strategy, she's going to have an ego-crisis if she goes to Yale.

EDIT: Nerds can be gorgeous!

My plan is to tutor her in her maths. :D

BACKUP PLAN:

Get lead male role in romantic drama in which Emma has the lead female role.

?

Profit!

Huh..how did she get in early if she only did her SATs in January?
And if she got in RD, why does she get to know before everyone? Super special celebrity likely letter...

I thought about that also, klagirl. She only got in early b/c of her celebrity status---not that she ONLY got in b/c of it, just that she heard early before they even had her SATs. I'm sure the adcoms knew about her A levels, though. Or if she applied RD, she prob. got a likely letter instead of an actual admit, but who knows or cares-same difference.

My "plan" is to treat her like every other Yale student I meet. I wouldn't fake like I didn't recognize her, I'd just say "Hey Emma" if I sat next to her in class or at lunch or something. I'd avoid the subject of her movies entirely unless she brought it up first.

She may have taken the ACT instead or maybe they looked at the application saw Emma Watson and that was all it took.

wow you guys are so discreet. I plan to be as obnoxious as possible (not a stretch for me)... as far asking about the movies go - i'm totally gonna be on that too.

^ Yeah, well, my hope is that she'll see that I like her for who she is (not her celebrity) and instantly fall madly in love with me ;) hahahhaha

Interesting, lmao, I've of course heard of her but I hate the Potter books so barely read the 1st/2nd one, never watched any of the movies, so I'm barely acquainted with HP and share none of this HP fanboyism (I'm always one of the select few in classes that don't understand any HP jokes/puns/and whatnot..it's sad).

Of course this is all irrelevant since I'm not going to college until 2 years, but...

GL to the RD'ers, I guess...don't get your hopes up and then..;)

FFS she's going to Cambridge everyone!

^ Now let's not jump to conclusions... maybe we should send her a basket or something... (creepy)

I would make lame Harry Potter puns until she got sick of hearing them.
