I am an International Student at Emory University. I am a business major. I would like to apply as a transfer student to Georgetown, Notre Dame, Cornell and Northwestern.
Stats:
College GPA: 3.5 (upward trend)
HS GPA: 4.5/5
SAT: 1410
I am decently involved on campus, have work experience, etc.
What are my chances of getting accepted?
Achingly small- and even smaller if you need financial aid.
Average GPA for Georgetown and Notre Dame transfers is 3.7. I don’t know what it is for NU or Cornell, but last year Cornell took about 550 transfer students (~17% of applicants, which includes guaranteed places), of whom 28 were international students, and NU had a 15% acceptance rate.
