<p>I'm paranoid about my handwriting on my applications. Please tell me they don't care about how unperfect my handwriting is.</p>

<p>yeah, do the online thing. My school is actually pretty cool. You do the application online, and print out any teacher/counsler recommendations. You go to the secretary and pay for $3 transcript fee, hand over the packet of recommendations for what colleges, and the counslers office deals with sending that paper stuff - my handwriting never touched a thing. Oh, it did touch the common application recommendation forms...but it's easy to write nicely there.</p>
<p>They're prep school applications, I can't do it online...</p>
<p>Don't worry about your handwriting, make it as neat as possible. You can write a couple drafts of it. </p>
<p>Or if it really bothers you, you can use a new version of Adobe Acrobat, and you can load the document as a PDF and type in it.</p>
