BC's my daddy.

^ lol, I said that after the test

Yah. I got pwn3d, as well.

heh.....BC. this was like the 2003 exam times about a million and a half. pwned on FRQ like theres no tomorrow. 3 omits on mc.....usually i knew it.....or i didnt. lol

but yeah overall, i USED to think calculus was one of my strong points. im hoping for like a 50% curve. lmao

What is the purpose of making a test insanely hard and then curving it 50%? Why not just make it easier and have little to no curve and avoid all this stress.

Because there are people who score ridiculously high on these tests.

Yep. And those people should probably stay FAR AWAY from me right now. llamf

God, I just feel...violated. I think I need to take a shower. Man. Got another hour of school left, though.

yeah i am calculating the worst i could have done and gotten a 5. lol

July 1 is gonna suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.

well you gotta admit, today's calc exam was probably pretty easy in comparison to some of the older exams.

LOL...in class we were doing some exams from the 60's and we just laughed. Many of today's Part II problems were Part I's in those exams, and they didn't have any calculators. Thank god for the calculus reform movement.

Its time like this that I wish I could take two points away from my AP USH exam and add it to my BC test.

im going to burn my calc book and rip off the pages in my PR book and then drive my car over them while shouting incantations such as

"Integrate this"

"Differentiate w/ respect to my wheels!"

j/king... calc bc is OVER! i pray for a very generous curve. all i want is a 4 plz...

i liked the BC exam, didnt have a lot of conventional problems where you just plug in to the formula, multiple choice was pretty easy, free response a bit difficult, im expecting a pretty good curve on this since most people didn't expect these kinds of questions.

yeah... definitely skipped the entire last FRQ... I turned to it, stared for a second, then went back to work on the stuff i hadn't done in the other sections. I just hope that I did well on the mc like I think I did. All I want is a 5, is that asking too much? :)

I thought Calc AB MC was really easy. Free response...not too horrible, but bad nonetheless...

Anyone get stumped by that sand problem??? I mean I knew how to get the answers for parts a, c, and d, but c and d were dependent on getting the equation in b...which i did not get.

Sand.... i hate you.

Not sure if you're allowed to talk about the problems specifically, are you?

what is the curve to get a 5 on the calc BC test?... im so disheartened. like, im taking this personally.......... i really want to cry now cuz like on one of the problems, i know how to do it but i didnt know how to punch the polar equations in my calculator. as in fnint(r,theta,....) i kept on putting in y instead of r. :( :( :( :(

This is why one would want to purchase a TI-89 or its Casio/HP equivalent.

Here's a sample curve:
5: 64-108
4: 53-64
3: 36-52
2: 26-35
1: 0-25

My teacher says the curve doesn't change much in recent years. Let's hope it stays that generous.
