I’m a 2nd year college student in industrial engineering and I plan on getting an mba in my career. When would be the best time to get one?
From every person I’ve talked to (most of which went through the same path as you, engineering to MBA) the best time to go after an MBA is after a few years of work experience. If you’ve already had a few internships, you shouldn’t have too hard of a time landing a job after your undergrad. I heard that two years should be a minimum amount of time to leave between getting the degree. A lot of business schools nowadays even block students from applying until they’ve been out in the workforce for quite some time.
