<p>Has anyone done an Engineering Co-op while attending WPI? Can you explain how the college helped you with getting the position and what semester/year (ie Summer/Soph) you did the co-op? Thank you.</p>
<p>You can get co-op but it isn’t a popular option here. Internships are very popular and co-ops are also quite possible. However, you are generally on your own looking for co-ops as not many others are, though the Career Development Center can help. </p>
<p>In other words, it is not impossible or even difficult to get a co-op but you need to do the co-op hunting yourself as there is no formal prrogram.</p>
