i have been accepted to both and am trying to decide where i should go. can you all help me out plz? feel free to drop any comment, pros and cons of each school (in general or engineering in specific), and anything! i appreciate it a lot. thanks!!!:)

I'd say they are pretty comparable academically...do you like the city more? Choose Northwestern as you will be right next to Chicago. Do you like a more beautiful campus that is less urban, go to Cornell. Perhaps one is closer to home...do you want to go far away or stay closer?

Other than BME and MSE, Cornell is a better engineering school than NU. Cornell Engineering is probably going to be tougher, because the grades at Cornell Engineering are not inflated at all. It will place you into top industry or graduate school even with a low 3 GPA.

NU is better in IE also.

i just visited both schools and i like them both!!! aaaaah there are pros and cons for each, and it's gotten harder for me to decide.:( sigh
