Wondering is anyone can report on grants in later years that help to ameliorate the cost of attendance?

They exist and I know people who have gotten them, all were above average students. They can be enough to pay a semester of tuition each year if you’re in state. Maybe even more for the top students, though I don’t know anyone who got that much.
Each major has its own scholarships, there might be some that share. I guess the amount and number would depend on how much funding and donations the major has. The departments might be able to say how many they typically give out, not sure if they can share that info.
