I know with engineering majors at any undergrad school there is relatively little opportunities to take classes outside of the engineering school. At Penn I know I can, but I was wondering how many actually classes would I get to take not related to an engineering degree. Are there other schools with more opportunity?

I believe that there are 40 courses in a BSE, assuming that you do not have any APs.

Included are 7 humanities classes and 3 more free electives, so that is 10 classes that are not math, science, or engineering. Plus any APs may make more space available. Additionally, if you are willing to take 6 course per term, that would allow you to take several more classes.

At Penn you can take a significant number of non-engineering classes.
