Engineering Managment minor for MBA track

<p>I have heard about this minor, and I was wondering if anyone knew about how valuable it was in putting someone on the track toward an MBA. I am thinking about getting a minor in this so I can eventually go into managment positions at companies like Dow Chemicals or BASF. Also, I was thinking about going toward i-banking (sorry guys ... i know you hate the i-banking topic), and I was wondering about this minor's relevance. :D</p>

<p>my dad did his major in civil engineering and he did his minor in engineering management...he started his career in the finance department at motorola and is now the CFO of a large-cap semiconductor company.</p>

<p>btw his roommate did the same thing except chemical eng. instead of civil and he started his career as an engineer then switched to management after getting his MBA at wharton...and is now the CEO of a large natural gas company in Colombia.</p>
