Engineering placement exam 1910????

hey,

my school did not offer BC so i had to take AB calc therefore I wasn't able to place out of

first year math although i REALLY want to!! (cus im taking AP chem credit and i want to

take physics 1112, which requires 1910 and i dont want to take chem anymore)

can anyone who took the placement exam give me some insight about the test?

difficulty, scoring, how much studying ETC.

i would like some more info too if possible.

although, op, if you didn’t know this already, you actually have the option of taking Intro to computing and intro to engineering in the same semester.

It’s my understanding that you could take 1910 concurrently with 1112. I may be mistaken though.

^

from the courses of study 2010 - 2011. I think you’ll be fine taking both of them the same time though :)

you should be fine taking both at the same time, and they don’t actually check prerecs btw.

Also considering 1910 covers everything in BC calc(I think, I took BC so I started with 1920) you would probably need to study the additional material to do well on the exam. The exam will likely be very similar to a previous semester final for the class btw, you could have grabbed an example of one if you had tried earlier since last semester’s was posted on the website, but it appears they’ve taken it down now.
