How good is harvard’s engineering school? Like whats its rank?

It rank is around 28-29 acc to US News
I am also interested in Harvard Engineering. But what wud it look like to Harvard if we said in our interview- " we want to come to Harvard to study engineerig"...I mean if tahts what you want to do, how wud u resond to "why do u want to come to harvard?" There is a better engineering school in the same place abt 20mins away LOLOL

'better engineering school' ? more like 'best' school =)

Going to Harvard for Engineering is much like going to MIT and majoring in English Lit.

Talk more about the school itself, rather than the engineering program. You can say that you're interesed in Harvard engineering, but imply that you want Harvard rather than MIT becuase of other programs offered by Harvard.

im pretty sure harvard lets you take any classes you want at mit and vice versa.. they have a cross-registration agreement http://www.people.fas.harvard.edu/~lipoff/academics/cross-registration.html

Harvard engineering is extremely difficult, and requires about 5 more classes than most concentrations. That's why my name is "Harvard_gov" when I had the intention of studying BME! If you really think MIT is better, then cross-register and take some classes there. I chose Harvard over MIT when I was going into engineering because Harvard's social situation, location, and liberal arts classes are so much better. Harvard gives you more options...if you decide (like me) that the engineering program is absolute hell.
