Engineering student minoring in psychology?

I found out that I can actually graduate in less than four years (one quarter earlier). However, due to the senior design class, I have to take those two during the winter and spring quarter (the last two quarters at Cal Poly). I will therefore have a lot of blank spots in my schedule.

I wasn’t sure if I should minor is psychology or something else. I thought psychology sounded the most interesting and I would be able to take only about 4-5 classes to graduate in exactly four years. Are there any Cal Poly engineering students who have any experiences with getting a minor?

Thanks!

If you’re interested in it, you should minor in it. The only issue may be that a lot of psych classes are pretty impacted because so many people minor in it. But you should still be able to get all the classes you need if you’re persistent.

As long as u demonstrate that your can graduate in for years, you’re set, however the college is very adament in allowing engineers to pursue minors, even for cpe to get a cs minor.
