So I like math and science, but was hoping to go to a small liberal arts college. I understand that you can do a 3-2 program or just normal grad school, but I am not sure if simply taking college math and physics without having taken any into/exploring engineering 101 courses will allow me to be confident I will like it. I think i'd enjoy engineering but I wish i could try it out a bit without the pressure of having to commit to grad school. Any suggestions?

Harvey Mudd is a small liberal arts college with an Engineering degree program.

But 3-2 programs are not generally great ideas – it is like the “go to community college and then transfer to a university for your junior and senior years” route, except that the first part is at an expensive liberal arts college instead of a cheap community college (and some of the community colleges do have the sophomore level introductory engineering courses like statics, materials, and electronics).
