Engineering

Many, many years ago when I was a engr student @ LSU many of our classes were held in CEBA (Center for Engr & Bus Admin). We just took my son for a tour and I couldn't find CEBA on the map. We meant to drive by afterwards, but we were exhausted and forgot.

Where are most of the engineering courses taught now? We did pass by and the old ChemE, EE, NE buildings looked just the same as when we were there. There was mention of a new ChemE building, but apparently that's several years away from starting.

So... where are the engineering classes taught currently? The individual building classrooms are too small for many of the class sizes. My son was after touring the engineering dorm, but the buildings were so old and dilapidated it was kind of depressing.

It was renamed to Patrick F. Taylor Hall in 2007.

The business school is also moving out into their own new building that should be open by 2011.

Ahh…thanks for solving that puzzle for me!

I’m sure it’s not as nice as I remember (it was 20 years ago), but it’s still a lot nicer than the EE & ChemE buildings that were there when my Dad attended!
