<p>Does anyone know the ranking or the strength of the English and History departments at the University of Wisconsin Madison?</p>
<p>Quite good I think, certainly at the grad level.</p>
<p>Widely considered to have both departments in the top 10 or 15. Top profs in each will teach the undergrads and there are undergraduate journals on campus that relate to both.</p>
