<p>what would be more beneficial to have? A degree in Journalism or a degree in English with a concentration in writing? Or do the two tend to be interchangeable?</p>
<p>You should know how to write like a journalist, thus you should at least take some journalism classes, even if you don’t go for the major. Other than that… it shouldn’t matter, if you’re between and English major and a Journalism major. Both will teach you how to write well. The internships and experience are what really, really count though.</p>
