I took 2 practice tests and finished the english part both times with 25 minutes to spare, and got a 25/26. What should I do to improve?? Read the question slowly or what??

brush up on your grammar rules, lots of times the right answer will seem obvious and turn out being wrong. knowledge of the rule will get you to the correct answer, even if it sounds odd. Remember, written English is not the same as spoken English.

also, make sure you know what each passage is about. if you're finishing with that much time left, you probably aren't reading everything. in order to answer the organization and "main point" questions, you have to read what each passage is saying. you will probably still finish with some time left (10-15 min) but probably not 25.

thanks so much for the advice ill take another practice today and hopefully i could reach my goal of a 30

25 minutes??! That's waaay too much time left. I finished an English section with ~30 seconds to spare today.

I echo the point that it is crucial that you read the whole passage. You won't get the full gist of the whole paragraph if you're just reading the underlined parts. A good understanding of the entire passage is necessary for many of the questions. My advice is to read paragraph by paragraph, answering questions as you go (read the question and ALL of the answer choices).
