Greetings,
I am wondering what types of job differences exist between a CE degree and an Engineering Management degree.
I am undecided between the two. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

Isn't an Engineering Management degree a Masters Degree?

CE = Civil Engineering or Computer Engineering?

Typically you want to get a BS degree in whatever concentration of engineering you want, then get the Masters of Engineering Management to manage whatever field you studied in undergrad. It's not as easy as it sounds though however. Having the Masters Degree dosn't automatically qualify you to become a manager, it is mostly based on your work performance.

I don't have personal exp with this, so if some of what i said was inaccurate, please chime in.

CE as being Computer Engineering.

I go to the University of Arizona, and they do offer an Engineering Management degree there, as well as a minor in a specific field of engineering. Do you think that at the BS level, that would land me a decent job?

I know of some schools that offer a BS in Engineering Management, so it does exist.

But would a BS in Engineering Management be a good option as far as job outlook? Do you have any idea as to what I would be doing in that field?
thanks
