Hey all! I'm trying to find out more about the engineering science major. I know that it's usually best to specialize (i.e. aerospace as opposed to general engineering), so is this program really as good as it sounds? I like the idea of it, I just don't want to graduate and discover that no one knows what my degree is/they would rather higher someone specialized and be another jobless statistic. So if you've got information or just an opinion on this, I'd love to hear it! Thanks!

I was in the same position only a year ago. Everyone I asked told me to not do it.

Since you have the ability to take on the honors engineering program, you will certainly be able to tackle one of the difficult engineering degrees like chemical, aerospace, or nuclear. And you’ll get much more out of it.

I know for a fact that the engineering science department is always struggling to find more students. It is not a popular major thats for sure!
