My daughter is thinking of dropping AP Physics and then taking it next year as a senior instead of this year. She can still drop it at this point and have it not show up on her transcript for this year.
She currently takes AP Environmental Science, AP Calculus BC, and three in-person college classes (two at a community college and one at a four-year state college). So if she drops AP Physics, she’ll have five classes each semester instead of six (three college classes each semester and the two year-long AP classes).
(She has already had AP Bio and AP Chem).
Does taking five classes each semester instead of six look bad for junior year if three of those courses are college courses? My daughter has some Top 20 colleges on her application list.
