<p>I have a quick question, I'm taking 19 units this fall and the semester is 3 1/2months long , by taking more than what the VA considers full-time(12 units) will i use up more than 3 1/2 months of my entitlement.</p>
<p>Is this for 9/11 bill or Montgomery? I’m not sure about Montgomery…but short answer if it’s 9/11 - No. You’re actually doing yourself a service by knocking out as many credits as you can (since the bill is based on overall <em>time</em> expended…and <em>not</em> credits). If you take 12 credits or 19, your <em>time</em> on the 9/11 bill is still reduced by 1 semester. Sorry I can’t explain it better…your VA office should have some more explicit detail, but they should tell you roughly the same thing (with more/better detail).</p>
