<p>Is this for 9/11 bill or Montgomery? I’m not sure about Montgomery…but short answer if it’s 9/11 - No. You’re actually doing yourself a service by knocking out as many credits as you can (since the bill is based on overall <em>time</em> expended…and <em>not</em> credits). If you take 12 credits or 19, your <em>time</em> on the 9/11 bill is still reduced by 1 semester. Sorry I can’t explain it better…your VA office should have some more explicit detail, but they should tell you roughly the same thing (with more/better detail).</p>
