Hi all,

I am a junior in high school interested in studying environmental science and policy in college. I particularly like international relations so I am considering Georgetown while researching colleges. I know that Georgetown SFS has an environmental studies track. How strong is Georgetown when it comes to environmental science and studies, and in the sciences in general? Also, would I be better off applying to SFS or to the college if I want to do environmental?

There is an "Environment and Energy" subfield within the Science, Technology, and International Affairs major. You can find details on it at the following pages: The Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service

and

GU - SFS - BSFS - Majors: STIA > Groups & Concentrations

There is also a brand-new Environmental Biology major:

VIII. Departmental and Interdisciplinary Programs

As for which one would be better for you to pursue, it really depends on whether you want the international affairs aspect that the STIA major brings, or the Biology aspects that the Environmental Biology major entails.
