<p>I am interested in taking ESPM 50AC in the Fall, but it appears that even though there are seats available the waitlist is starting to fill up. Could someone please explain this to me? </p>

<p>yeah, you will be put on the waitlist. I forget why this happens for this specific class, but its common in other departments and other classes like upper div psych classes because you have to be in that major to get into the class right away. </p>
<p>For ESPM 50AC, its a very large class and they usually try to accomodate as many people as possible to get into the class. There are also lots of drops because people perceive the class to be a lot of work (its not) because of all the “reading,” the boring lectures, etc.</p>
