Hey... If I post some essays that I wrote during a Kaplan "course" (part of an actual practice test from the blue book), could some of you guys grade them/tell me what you think, and tell me what you think I would get if it was the real thing (like what would CB grade it as). I want to see how accurate the Kaplan graders are.

Thanks... And for those willing to do this for me, should I post the quote or just the prompt?

Kaplan course has no correlation to what you will get on the actual SAT. Here is how I did on the essay...

Kaplan: 8 (after arriving late and soaking wet after a soccer game, and hungry), 12, 12, either 12 or 10 (i cant remember)
Actual: 9, 10

i'll help out. post the prompt and the essay. by the way, the only people with opinions that matter are the Pearson graders hired by the College Board to grade your essay :) but i'll help as much as i can.

I think that they would be similar. It could be the essay topic or the grading.

Oh I forgot about this thread... I will find some essays and post

yeah the essay grading was one that that was similar. i basically got the same score on the real that i got on the kaplan
