<p>I was thinking about putting an another essay in the "additional info" section of the common app, along with my resume. Is that a bad thing to do (like "too much" additional info)? The essay discusses something that isn't anywhere else on the application. I just don't want to overload the Admissions Officers with information if they don't want it!</p>

<p>I would refrain from an actual essay. A brief description or paragraph, I think, would suffice.</p>
<p>Actually, if it’s discussed no where on your application, then maybe it’s o.k.? I actually attached a part of my research paper from my science internship, and because it’s graduate level ,I had to define a lot of terms which made it really long. I hope it’s o.k.</p>
