I'm trying to think of a decent answer to the essay promp and failing miserably.

The essay prompt is: Hoe do you envision your role as a global citizen?

Is anyone else writing this? Would love to hear some ideas!

pepperdine has some SERIOUS essay questions lol. The admission's counclier said they do this because they want to weed out the kids who write essay's the night before the deadline--they want kids who seriously think about it.

I really have no idea what I'm going to write yet.

Another tip the admissions councilor told me: For the piece of art or literature that has influenced you question, don't use a book you read for school. Chances are, most of the kids applying have read it and just might be using it in their essay too. They LOVE it when they haven't heard of the piece of art or literature and have to look it up, she even said she read a novel because the student's essay about the book was THAT good, lol.

tell me about it...
pepperdine really does know how to pick out the last minute applyers
but seriously, I've been thinking about the prompt for at least one or one and a half month now and am still grasping at empty air. it's really frustrating.

seems like you're on good track though =]

I've been working on my essay for over a month now. My piece of literature dealt with a film, but what a good film it was ;)
