<p>I have 2 questions really.</p>

<p>One, if your have a felony record, could they rescind your application of acceptance to a university?</p>

<p>Two, I'd like to talk about how I was in prison, and then came out a different person, getting a 4.0 in college and all that good stuff, but if I do talk about all that stuff, they'll know I was in prison, and I'm not sure I'll be able to get in that way. Would writing about my prison term for my college essay for admission be highly recommended?</p>

<p>All the help would be greatly appreciated.</p>

<p>I think you have to tell them at your application, anyway don’t lie.
So if you told them I don’t see any problem writing about it, if you can show how you learned from this time</p>
