<p>I'm not really sure if this topic is off-topic on this section but here it goes. I'm a little skeptic when a college says that it will look at the application holistically especially if it's a top tier college so there's a lot of applicants applying. Anyways, will a STELLAR essay make up with let's say an average ACT/SAT.</p>
<p>I feel like if a college sees that you don't even meet its minimum requirement for the ACT/SAT, it chucks your app without a second look. I don't know if I'm just being paranoid. </p>
