Essay Word Limits and Video Time Limits!

Hi! I finished my supplements for Tufts and before I submit, I'd like some opinions regarding where the # of words in my essays stands by comparison to the limits and if that is OK. I've tried making many of them shorter but I'm not sure if I can get rid of much more without lacking substance.

My essays:
Essay 1 - Why Tufts? - 162 wds
Essay 2 - Environment Raised - 280 wds
Essay 3 - Inner-self - (It has a quote at the start of the essay) WIth the quote: 356 wds. Without the quote: 320 wds.

Video Supplement length: 1:50
Is the 1 minute limit an absolute cap off? Or merely a guideline.

Thanks so much for any opinions!! :)

I think your essay #1 is a bit long :frowning: I was having a hard time to limit it to like around 50 words. I’m not sure, you might be fine if ur essay is awesome! Also, my video is like 1:10. I thought this was a little bit off limit. Why don’t u shorten ur video to like around 1:30 at most and give a stronger impact?

I worked all day on Essay 1 and got it to 90
As for the video, I’ll try to get it to 1:30! :)

sounds awesome! are you doing RD?

Yup RD in a few days!

I got the video to 1:40, that’s probably the closest I can get it :</p>
