<p>Hey all, this question has probably been resolved somewhere but i cant find it. I was wondering what the word limit was for the supplemental essays. Two of my essays currently exceed 300 words. I know the common app has a character limit of 1800, but does that include spaces?

<p>Yes, the character count includes spaces – you can paste in your essay into the online supplement to see if it will fit or how many characters you are over/under. Or just use a word count that counts all characters, including spaces.</p>
