Omg, I have to do an essay!
I don't have perfect writing or vocabulary. But I am passing.
Omg, what do I do?!

Don’t panic! As long as everything is grammar-error-free, the essay should be fine as long as it evokes personal voice. Just stay true to yourself in an essay and write about things that you genuinely feel like opening up and sharing about. A good tip is to first write like you talk, because that normally brings voice into your essay without the dull formalities that English teachers normally order you to have. Remember, you are writing an essay that screams “you,” not a formal essay for English class.
