I was brainstorming the essay questions for the Wake Forest application a few days ago, and i came up with a great response to the trending # question. The only problem is that I dont know if I can use it. i was wondering, do they mean a hashtag that you made up on the spot, or a hashtag that you wish were more popular. I’m not big into social media, so i’m not very familiar with the whole hashtag thing, but from what it looks like the hashtag i want to use DOES EXIST, but I wouldn’t call it “trending”. I guess my question is do they want me to create my own hashtag, or talk about one that i wish was more popular?
