I was reflecting today about my fall and realized, I really miss discussing college essays with people. I really liked Carolina's fill-in-the-sentence essays, as well as their longer ones. I was just wondering what you all wrote about? It might help everyone who's waiting to hear RD feel less stressed. Listen to me rationalize.

And just as I'm writing this, I was thinking about some of the more common 'least favorite celebrity from the past 50 years,' and remembered that a number of people I knew put down Anna Nicole Smith. ... How eerie it must be to have written that!

haha i put O.J. Simpson and a month later he is all over the news with his new book "not saying i did kill her but if i did, this is how i would have done it" (something like that). kinda ironic if you ask me - same as Anna Nicole Smith

After thinking pretty hard about it I put down Tom Cruise because he 'represents all the unjustified authority of celebrity.' It was weird to me because I couldn't think of too many other famous people who infuriate me physically as much as he does. Not Anne Coulter, not George Bush. Tom Cruise. I almost find my answer worrying.

Ah, I put Ann Coulter. I thought I was being relatively creative at the time, until I saw on the UNC 2011 facebook group that at least 10 other people had put her.

Why did you put Steinbeck? I know so little about him, but I read 'The Pearl' when I was in 7th grade and have always felt close to that passage about luck.

I put Jason Isaacs because I'm strange and just couldn't stand his character in The Patriot... I mean I know he was supposed to be the bad guy but I guess I'm just odd.
