European vs American chemistry degree

Hey guys so I was wondering, would a Chemistry degree from a European school look much worse than a chemistry degree from a university in America assuming I was looking for a job back in the states?

I worked in opthamology and with biofuels in the states for a few years during my first worthless bachelors degree and am now in Europe finishing up a business masters, and was thinking about returning to biofuels and since I am pretty close to finishing up Chemistry.

thanks for the help

I wouldn’t say it’s worthless since Europe is infinitely better than America for virtually everything, including science. Unlike here where everyone disregards scientific progress and the funding for it continually drops, Denmark and other countries are at the forefront of alternative energy, physics, and chemistry. Go to Oxford and major in Physics and stay as far away from America as possible in terms of anything science-related.

I am not a Chemistry major but I can tell you right off the bat that here in the US, if your degree is accompanied by the American Chemical Society (ACS) option, you have better opportunities in the US job market than you would without it. does your college have an equivalent?
